At Analytic Design Lab in Plain City, Utah, Dandy Nugraha is learning what it means to solve problems without always having a clear set of instructions. As a software analyst intern, he works across software, digital logic, hardware, research, testing, and technical documentation—experience that is helping him connect his computer science education to the demands of a professional career. Majoring in computer science, this internship provides him with experience that will influence his future career, adding to the stacked arsenal of entrepreneurial experience he’s previously honed himself.

For many college students, summer is a time to kick back and relax. But Angelou Revil Pacia, a junior from the Philippines studying psychology and political science at BYU–Hawaii, is spending her summer researching policy and developing legislative proposals at the Hawaii Senate.

In partnership with Peace Through Music International, a nonprofit organization that aims to help children from war-torn countries improve their lives through music, BYU–Hawaii students recently traveled to Poland to lift, teach, and serve refugee children from Ukraine.
