Home > Strategy Strategy Strategic planning is the beginning of the whole project/product process. If you don't know what you want to accomplish, you spend a lot of time doing not much. LIS strategy guides the development of products and helps prioritize projects. The CIO guides strategic planning for LIS. In coordination with the President's Council and the CIO Coordinating Council, the CIO develops strategic objectives for LIS, its culture map, and its future planning.
